The Evangelical Ministerial Fellowship of Frederick County announces its newly elected officers: president, the Rev. Gary Byers, Fredericktowne Baptist Church; vice president, the Rev. Lloyd Fuss, New Life Foursquare Church; secretary-treasurer, the Rev. Jeff Hudson, Fredericktowne Baptist Church.
EMF was formed in April 1986 to provide evangelical ministers an avenue for fellowship, Bible study and cooperative ministry. The fellowship meets the first Thursday of each month for a noon luncheon meeting. Currently, the book of Jude is being studied in depth.
EMF invites all Frederick area evangelical ministers to its next meeting, Feb. 5 at the New Life Foursquare Church. The theological basis for involvement in EMF centers around accepting the Bible as the authoritative word of God, belief in the deity and redemptive work of Christ, and the necessity of the new birth.
